HBL were instructed to carry out feasibility calculations on various elements of the private residency, with particular attention being paid to the Master Bedroom area. Our structural solution allowed the client to achieve uninterrupted views over the harbour, as we well providing a usable roof deck. Our solution was subsequently passed over to a local based engineering company to produce the constructed solution to local requirements. The project was shortlisted for Villa of the Year award at the World Architecture Festival and Winner in Architecture Design – Residential Architecture for Architecture Masterprize.
