LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Birmingham

The ultimate indoor LEGO playground with 3 rides, 10 LEGO build & play zones and a 4D Cinema. The development was constructed wholly within an under-utilised car park below the National Indoor Arena (NIA), with a ceiling height of approximately 8m and gridlines of 10m centres.
To achieve the required layout within the existing building parameters, a combination of traditional steel and timber design, along with posi-joists was utilised.
